Charlotte’s was selected by the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland to represent them in the Kathleen Ferrier Bursary Competition in October 2013.  Partnered by pianist George Todica Charlotte reached the final after winning the audience prize.  This started a Lieder partnership which has seen them perform recitals, competitions, and concerts together both here in the United Kingdom, Norway, and Italy.

Their work together included Charlotte winning third prize in the Voice of Future competition at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in 2014.  Later that year they performed together at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Glasgow on behalf of Marie Curie for their annual charity dinner.

In 2015 Charlotte was selected for a week’s intensive masterclass for the International Edvard Grieg Society’s conference in Bergen, Norway, where she performed alongside George at Grieg’s home in Toldhaugen.  In the November of 2015, they were invited to perform an evening recital together for the Edinburgh Society of Musicians.  In the same year, they were finalists in the Elgar and Spedding Memorial Lieder Prize at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

In 2016 Charlotte and George performed in two concerts; the first at the South Hill Park Arts Centre, Ringmead followed by a concert in support of the Pendsey Trust.  Accompanied by George, Charlotte reached the final in the 2016 Association of English Singers and Speakers Courtney Kenny Award.   In April 2016 they were invited to perform at one of the Fringe concerts at the Leeds Lieder Festival.
